Balancing Act is designed to provide employees with new knowledge, practical strategies and tools to help them manage their roles and responsibilities both at work and at home. Employee burnout is a problem employers can no longer afford to ignore; one in five Canadians living with mental health challenges are employed in their early and prime working years and this workshop addresses their needs. Lyne Frank, is an experienced facilitator, educator and life coach who specializes in working with employees by providing them with the support they need to feel successful in all areas of their lives. Absenteeism and sick leaves will continue to cripple your organization with increased health costs and a decrease in productivity unless you invest in employee wellness. The time is now.

At the end of this half or full day experience, participants will leave with a greater sense of confidence and empowerment in the workplace as well as practical tools and strategies for managing both work and life expectations. Participants will also receive resources, such as handouts and articles, to help them continue their professional development beyond the workshop.

The workshop is available in various durations to accommodate your schedules. Extended sessions provide a deeper exploration of strategies and learning and also allow for increased interactive activities, practice, and group participation. These variations are ideal for conferences and retreats.

  • A half-day workshop of 90-120 minutes

  • A full-day workshop of 150 minutes plus

  • A 2-3 part series offered as half or full-days 

The bonus to the series is that I can hold employees accountable. This ensures that individuals take responsibility for the goals which fosters commitment to their roles and reinforces the importance of the school community. Lastly, it gives us time to address issues and help educators find solutions so that everyone is empowered to continue learning and reach their full potential.
